여러분들의 많은 성원속에서 여름학기를 잘 마치고 9월 부터 시작하는 새학기의 등록이 시작 되었습니다.
선진국 대열에 들어선 한국의 문화는 BTS, K-드라마 등의 열풍에 힘입어 세계적으로 많은 관심의 대상이 되고 있습니다. 이는 한국인들 모두가 자랑이며, 한국의 뿌리를 가진 우리 어린이들의 자긍심을 더욱 북돋아 주게 될것이라 생각합니다.
한국어를 습득하는 일은 우리 어린이들이 자신들에게 연결된 한국의 뿌리를 더욱 튼튼히 하여 그들이 힘차고 씩씩하게 자라나 앞으로 그들이 살고있는 사회를 이끌어 나가가게 도와줄 중요한 삶의 원동력이 되어 줄것입니다.
우리 어린이들에게 있어서 한국어 교육은 선택의 문제가 아닌 그들이 받아야 할 필수적인 권리의 하나라고 생각합니다.
새학기는 9월 10일부터 1303 Fellows Rd.(near Baseline rd.@ Woodroffe ave.) 에 위치한 새학교에서 대면 수업 으로 진행될 예정입니다.
(이전에 수업하던 920 Parkhaven ave. 에 있는 학교가 내부수리를 하고 있어서 임시로 학교를 옮기게 되었습니다)

Dear Parents,
With your sincere support, the summer semester was completed successfully and registration for the new semester started.
Lately, Korean culture is receiving great attention from all around the world thanks to the BTS and K-drama. This is something that all Koreans are proud of, and it will boost the pride of our children with Korean roots.
Learning Korean will be an important driving force in their life that will help our children to grow up strong and to lead the society in which they live. I believe that Korean language education for our children is not a matter of choice, but one of the essential rights they deserve.
The new semester will start on September 10th and will be held at the new school located at 1303 Fellows Rd. (near Baseline rd.@ Woodroffe ave.) (The school at 920 Parkhaven Ave., where our students used to attend before, is currently undergoing internal repairs.)

2. Enrollment of existing students:
Students who took online classes last semester have been notified of re-enrollment from the school board (CECCE), and many students already completed their registration. Students who have not registered yet, please complete the registration as soon as possible. (Note: It has been confirmed that there is a problem with the mail ____@naver.com with the school board’s automatic mail system. If you have not received a re-registration notice due to this, please notify the Ottawa Korean community school.) In other cases, please register as a new student.
3. Korean Language Teacher Recruitment:
We are looking for Korean teachers for the future of our children. Please let me know if you know of anyone who is interested in.
Eligibility to apply:
– Holders of Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident Card or Work Permit.
– Those who have completed at least 2 years of elementary school or general college.
– Experienced in teaching elementary/middle school students.
