한글학교 봄학기 방과 후 수업 안내드립니다. 관심있으신 학부모님들께서는 내용 참고하셔서 신청하시기 바랍니다.

한글학교 2026 봄학기 방과후수업

– 기간: 3월 28일 토 ~ 6월 6일 토요일 (총 9회 – 4월 4일과 5월 16일은 휴무로 수업이 없습니다)

– 시간: 12:30 ~ 1:30 PM, 1시간

– 장소 : 한글학교 920 Parkhaven Ave.

신청 안내

– 신청 기간: ~ 2월 28일(토) 9:00 PM

– 신청 방법: 방과후수업 신청은 여기를 눌러주세요

등록은 제출 시간 기준으로 선착순 접수되며, 정원 초과 시 신청 기간과 관계없이 마감될 수 있습니다.
1명 이상 등록을 원하실 경우 각각 다른 신청 양식 제출이 필요합니다.
인원이 부족한 수업이 있는 경우, 다른 수업의 Waitlist에 있는 분께 먼저 안내드릴 예정입니다.

수업료 및 결제

– 수업료: $60 (추가 재료비 없음)

– 납부기간: 3월 2일 월요일 ~ 3월 8일 일요일

– 결제는 신청 마감 후 등록이 확정되신 분들께 별도로 안내드릴 예정입니다.

이번 방과후 수업은 별도로 도시락 신청을 받지 않습니다.

1시 30분에 수업이 종료하는 것을 감안하셔서, 간식 또는 간단히 식사가 가능한 도시락을 준비하여 주시기 바랍니다. 오전 수업 종료 후 하교 및 이동 후 약 20~25분 정도 간식 시간이 주어집니다.

We are planning to offer several after-school programs this spring. If you would like to register, please read the information below and submit your application.

OKCS Spring After-school Program

– Date : Sat, March 28 – Sat, June 6 (total of 9 classes – No class on April 9 and May 16 due to holidays)

– Time : 12:30 – 1:30 PM (1 hour)

– Location : Ottawa Korean Community School (920 Parkhaven Ave.)

Registration

– Due Date: Saturday, February 28 at 9 PM

– How to register: SIGN UP HERE Please!

Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis according to the submission time, and may close once capacity is reached, regardless of the due date.
If you have two or more children, please submit a separate application for each child.
If a class does not meet the minimum enrollment, we will contact parents whose children are on the waitlist of other full classes.

Payment

– Tuition Fee : $60 (No hidden costs)

– Payment Period : Monday, March 2 – Sunday, March 8

– Payment instructions will be sent separately to parents whose registration is confirmed after the application due date.

Lunch orders will not be available for this after-school program.

Please prepare additional snacks or a simple lunch for your child, keeping in mind that the class ends at 1:30 PM. After the morning classes end, students will be dismissed and move to the after-school program classrooms, and approximately 20-25 minutes will be provided for snack time.

[한글학교] 공지사항 / [OKCS] Announcement
안녕하세요,

한글학교 가족분들께 몇가지 안내 드립니다.

1. 날씨에 맞는 옷차림

벌써 눈이 내려서 한층 추워진 요즘입니다. 학생들이 건강하게 바깥 놀이를 할 수 있도록 날씨에 맞는 옷차림 (모자, 장갑, 목도리 등) 부탁드립니다. 또한 윈터부츠를 신는 계절이므로 실내화도 꼭 챙겨주시기 바랍니다.

2. 아이가 아플 때

바이러스성 감기가 유행입니다. 아이가 열이 나거나, 컨디션이 좋지 않으면, 집에서 휴식을 취할 수 있게 해주십시요.

3. 주차 안내 표지판

겨울철은 쌓여있는 눈 등으로 한글학교 주변 정차 및 주차가 한층 더 쉽지 않습니다. 학생들의 안전과 주변 주민의 편의 및 원활한 교통 흐름을 위해 자체적으로 주차 금지 표지판을 활용할 예정입니다. 사인을 잘 따라주시기 바라며, 학교 주변 길에는 오른쪽에만 주차를 부탁드립니다.

4. 중고 책 판매 / 기부
- 중고 한국어 동화책을 11월 15일과 22일 이틀간 판매할 예정입니다.
- 책은 2권당 1불로 현금 구입만 가능 (거스름돈 없음) 합니다. 책 판매 기금은 한글학교 기부금으로 활용됩니다.
- 혹은 댁에 보관 중이신 한국어 동화책을 행사 중 기부하시는 것도 가능합니다.
- 하교 시간인 12시에 스쿨야드에서 진행되니 학생들과 함께 둘러보시고 마음에 드는 책은 구입하시기 바랍니다.

Dear OKCS families

We have a few announcements to share:

1. Weather-appropriate clothing

Winter has arrived early, and it’s getting much colder. Please ensure your child comes dressed warmly for outdoor play during recess (hat, gloves, scarf, etc.). Since most students now wear winter boots, don’t forget to send indoors shoes.

2. Sick day

Colds, flus and other respiratory illnesses are more common in colder months. If your child shows any symptoms, please keep them at home to allow for proper recovery.

3. Following parking signs

Snow in the winter makes parking around the school more challenging. For student safety and smooth traffic flow, we will be placing our own No Parking and Exit signs. Please follow the signs, and remember to park only on the right side of the streets around the school.

4. Used Book Sale/Fair

We will be selling used Korean children’s books on November 15 and 22.

Books are $1 for two, cash only (no change), and all proceeds will support the school for school events and activities. You may also donate any Korean children’s books, if you wish.

The sale will take place in the schoolyard at 12:00 P.M., during dismissal. Please stop by with your children and pick out some books!

We are informing you of the first day of school and registration.

1. Elementary Program

The first day of the 2025-2026 Elementary Program is September 6. To ensure smooth class placement, we kindly ask that registrations be completed by August 31.

NEW students: Parents can complete a *NEW* student registration form available on the IILP website: https://educationpermanente.ca/en/elementary-ilp/

Returning students: Parents should use the registration form sent by email ‘Fall/Winter 2025-2026 School Year IILP Returning Student’ (If any returning student has not received this email registration form, please contact the Ottawa Korean School at ottawakoreanschool@gmail.com )

2. Secondary Program

Our Secondary In-person Credit Program will also be held at the same location as our elementary program (920 Park haven Ave). In addition, adults are welcome and attend the class on a non-credit basis. Please note that the secondary program will begin on September 13.

다음주 부활절 연휴 휴강을 앞두고 5월 행사 안내를 먼저 보내드립니다.

한글학교는 2주 뒤인, 4월 26일에 다시 시작됩니다.

1. 어린이날 맞이 운동회

* 이번 운동회는 학생들만 참여하는 행사지만, 관람을 원하시는 학부모님께서는 자유롭게 오시면 됩니다. 우천시에는 한 주 뒤인 5월 10일로 연기됩니다.
- 일정: 5월 3일 토요일 9:30 am – 12:00 pm
- 장소: 한글학교 운동장
- 준비물: 한글학교 티셔츠 입고 오기, Nut Free 간식, 개인 물병, 선크림 등

4. 등록시 참고사항

한글학교 캠프는 현재 JK ~ 8학년까지 등록 가능합니다.
스쿨보드 프로그램 운영 일정에 따라 1주차는 3일만 운영됩니다.
오후 캠프 등록은 4월 30일 수요일, 밤 10까지 입니다. 많은 분들이 등록하시는 경우 더 빠르게 마감될 수 있으며, 등록 기간은 연장되지 않습니다.
각 주별로 준비된 캠프 프로그램은 다를 수 있습니다.
오후 캠프 결제는 도시락 메뉴 확정 등을 거쳐 5월에 진행될 예정입니다.

오후 캠프에 등록하고자 하는 분은 이후 반드시 스쿨보드 오전 프로그램에 자녀를 등록해 주시기 바랍니다. 오후 캠프만 등록하시는 것은 불가능하며, 추후 오후 캠프 등록이 취소되니 주의하시기 바랍니다.

The registration for the summer morning program has opened. Accordingly, the registration for the afternoon camp will open this Saturday at 10 AM, so please refer to the schedule in advance.

School Board & OKCS Morning Program & Afternoon Camp

Date: Wednesday, July 2 – Friday, August 1

Location: Current school location École Edouard-Bond (920 Parkhaven Ave.)

All the parents who already registered for the afternoon camp should register for the morning program ASAP using the instructions in section 1.

The registration will be confirmed after the morning program registration is completed. If you have not already registered for the afternoon camp and wish to do so, please follow the instructions below:

1. Morning Program – CECCE International Language Program (ILP) Korean Language Classes

Hours: 09:00 am – 11:30 am

Returning students: email forms sent to parents emails on school board record, if you didn’t receive the email, please contact the school board ILP coordinator through email pil-ilp@ecolecatholique.ca
The registration and payment for the morning program process in the school board system.

2. Afternoon Camp and EDP Registration – Operated by OKCS Board

Afternoon Camp Hours: 11:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Morning/Afternoon EDP Hours : 8:00 – 9:00 AM / 4:00 – 5:00 PM
Registration Period: Saturday, April 5, 10 AM – Wednesday, April 30, 10 PM

Please complete one registration form per child.
Some weeks may fill up quickly, and you can check the fully booked weeks on the registration form.

4. Registration Guides

The summer Camp is currently open to registration for students from JK to 8th grade.
The pre-registration period for the afternoon camp ends on Wednesday, April 30, at 10:00 PM. Due to high demand, registration may close earlier, and this due date will not be extended.
Camp programs may slightly vary by week.
The payment for the afternoon camp will be processed after arranging lunch menus, and it will be in May.

Important Reminder: If you’d like to register for the Afternoon Camp completely, you must register your child(ren) for the morning program later. Afternoon registration is not available without the morning registration. If you do not register for the morning program, your afternoon registration will be canceled.
