한글학교 가족분들께 몇가지 안내 드립니다.
1. 날씨에 맞는 옷차림
벌써 눈이 내려서 한층 추워진 요즘입니다. 학생들이 건강하게 바깥 놀이를 할 수 있도록 날씨에 맞는 옷차림 (모자, 장갑, 목도리 등) 부탁드립니다. 또한 윈터부츠를 신는 계절이므로 실내화도 꼭 챙겨주시기 바랍니다.
2. 아이가 아플 때
바이러스성 감기가 유행입니다. 아이가 열이 나거나, 컨디션이 좋지 않으면, 집에서 휴식을 취할 수 있게 해주십시요.
3. 주차 안내 표지판
겨울철은 쌓여있는 눈 등으로 한글학교 주변 정차 및 주차가 한층 더 쉽지 않습니다. 학생들의 안전과 주변 주민의 편의 및 원활한 교통 흐름을 위해 자체적으로 주차 금지 표지판을 활용할 예정입니다. 사인을 잘 따라주시기 바라며, 학교 주변 길에는 오른쪽에만 주차를 부탁드립니다.
4. 중고 책 판매 / 기부
- 중고 한국어 동화책을 11월 15일과 22일 이틀간 판매할 예정입니다.
- 책은 2권당 1불로 현금 구입만 가능 (거스름돈 없음) 합니다. 책 판매 기금은 한글학교 기부금으로 활용됩니다.
- 혹은 댁에 보관 중이신 한국어 동화책을 행사 중 기부하시는 것도 가능합니다.
- 하교 시간인 12시에 스쿨야드에서 진행되니 학생들과 함께 둘러보시고 마음에 드는 책은 구입하시기 바랍니다.

Dear OKCS families
We have a few announcements to share:
1. Weather-appropriate clothing
Winter has arrived early, and it’s getting much colder. Please ensure your child comes dressed warmly for outdoor play during recess (hat, gloves, scarf, etc.). Since most students now wear winter boots, don’t forget to send indoors shoes.
2. Sick day
Colds, flus and other respiratory illnesses are more common in colder months. If your child shows any symptoms, please keep them at home to allow for proper recovery.
3. Following parking signs
Snow in the winter makes parking around the school more challenging. For student safety and smooth traffic flow, we will be placing our own No Parking and Exit signs. Please follow the signs, and remember to park only on the right side of the streets around the school.
4. Used Book Sale/Fair
We will be selling used Korean children’s books on November 15 and 22.
Books are $1 for two, cash only (no change), and all proceeds will support the school for school events and activities. You may also donate any Korean children’s books, if you wish.
The sale will take place in the schoolyard at 12:00 P.M., during dismissal. Please stop by with your children and pick out some books!
