  • [한글학교] 9월 개학일 및 등록 안내 / [OKCS] Information for Registration and The First Day of School

    한글학교 학부모님들께,
    당당히 선진국의 언어로 자리 잡고 있는 한국어를 우리 어린이들에게 습득하게 하는것은 이제 선택 사항이 아닌 필수적인 일이 되었습니다.
    2023/24 학기의 개학을 맞아 지금까지 기대 이상의 많은 학생들이 등록을 하고 있습니다.
    학생들을 적절한 반에 반배정 하기 위하여 초등부(유치 – 8학년) 학생들 중 아직 등록을 하지 않은 학생들은 9월 2일 까지 등록을 마쳐 주시면 고맙겠습니다. 각 학생의 반배정이 결정되면 담임선생님께서 개별적으로 학부모님께 메일을 보내드릴 예정입니다.
    학교 개학일은 9월 9일 토요일입니다.
    1) 초등부 기존학생들 중 교육청에서 개별적으로 보낸 등록 양식을 받지 못하신 분이 계시면 즉시 학교 메일 (ottawakoreanschool@gmail.com)로 알려 주시기 바랍니다.
    2) 새학생들(유치부 – 8학년)은 아래 링크를 통하여 등록 바랍니다.
    3) 9학년(고등부 크레딧) 이상은 이번 학기에 오프라인(조남희 선생님)과 온라인 수업(우진아 선생님)으로 열립니다. 수업 신청시에 일단 오프라인으로 등록해 주시면 감사하겠습니다.
    올해부터는 특히 대학 진학에 한국어 수업 성적이 도움이 될 수 있게 교과과정이 개편되었습니다.

    Dear Parents,

    Now, it has become a necessity for our children to learn Korean which is proudly positioned as the language of most developed countries.
    With the start of the 2023/24 semester, many students have been enrolling so far beyond expectations.

    In order to place students in the appropriate classes, we would appreciate it if all elementary school (kindergarten – 8th grade) students who have not yet registered register by September 2nd. When each student’s class assignment is decided, the homeroom teacher will send an email to parents individually.

    The elementary school will start on Saturday, September 9th.

    1) If there are existing elementary school students who have not received the registration form individually sent by the school board (CECCE), please immediately notify the school by e-mail (ottawakoreanschool@gmail.com).

    2) New students (kindergarten – 8th grade), please register through the link below.

    3) 9th grade (high school credit) and above will be held offline (Mr. Cho Nam-hee) and online classes (Mr. Woo Jin-ah) this semester. I would appreciate it if you would like to register offline when you apply for a class.

    This year, the curriculum has been reorganized so that Korean language class grades can be especially helpful for university admissions.

    학부모님들께,

    1. 오타와 한글학교의 여름캠프가 어느덧 마지막 수업을 남기게 되었습니다. 이번주 금요일은 여름캠프의 마지막 날로 온라인으로 오전 10시부터 종업식을 하게될 예정입니다. 종업식의 접속 링크는 각반의 담임 선생님들께서 수업에 참여중인 학생들에게 알려드릴 예정입니다.

    2. 오는 9월에 부터 시작될 2021/2022 년도 학기의 등록이 이번주 부터 시작 되었습니다. 지난 한해동안 수업을 받았던 학생들에게는 간편한 재등록 양식을 교육청으로부터 메일로 이번주 중에 받게 되며 이에 간단한 4개의 질문에 응답을 하시면 2021/2022 하기 등록이 완료 되겠습니다. 등록이 완료된 학생들에게는 8월중에 교재가 배부될 예정이므로 늦지 않게 바로 등록을 하여 주시면 고맙겠습니다.

    Dear Parents,

    1. The 2021 summer camp of Ottawa Korean Community School has come to the end. This Friday is the last day of summer camp, and the closing ceremony will be held online from 10 am. The connection link for the closing ceremony will be provided by the homeroom teachers of each class to the students participating in the class.
    2. Registration for the 2021/2022 semester, which will start in September, has started this week. Students who have taken classes for the past year will receive a simple re-registration form by email from the CECCE school board during this week. If you provide answers to four simple questions, registration for 2021/2022 will be completed. Textbooks and study materials will be distributed to the registered students in August, so please register as soon as possible.

  • 2021 여름캠프 교재 분배 / 2021 Summer Program Preparation & Textbook distribution

    학부모님들께,

    2021년 여름캠프에 많은 관심을 보여주시고 자녀들을 등록하여 주신 학부모 여러분께 감사를 드립니다.

    많은 학부모님들의 성원과 학교 관계자 여러분의 적극적인 지원에 힘입은 한글학교 선생님들은 여름캠프 준비에 모든 정성을 다하고 있습니다.
    참고로, 현재 선생님들께서는 7일간의 교사연수를 진행하며 지난 일년간의 온라인수업의 경험에서 얻은 노하우를 서로 나누며 학습개발에 만전을 다하고 있습니다.

    이번 여름캠프에서 사용될 학습재료를 담임 선생님들께서 준비하여 다음과 같이 분배해 드릴 예정입니다.

    We appreciate all the parents who showed great interest in the 2021 Summer Camp and registered their children.
    Our teachers are doing their best to prepare for the summer camp – thanks to the support of many parents and the active support of school officials, For your information, the teachers are having a 7-day workshop for developing better online teaching methods by sharing the know-how gained from the class experiences over the past year.
